The @Café & Bookstore

Sweetness! This is my first of hopefully many community lots. I was so bored with my sims towns so I made this little place where your sims can browse and chat online, work, buy/read books, or drink coffee with your friends.

* There are 5 computers all with their own separate desk/work area.
* Two comfy couches to chill out while you read the latest novel
* A books register in case you would like to purchase the books
* Bar/Coffee machine to quench your thirst
* Outdoor patio area with BBQ
* Public washrooms

Lot size 20x15
FRN - 58,720
UNF - 29,417

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I love this but the file isn't opening to install it. I can inzip it but when I double click to install it with the launcher it does nothing. I tried deleting and downloading it again. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have re-saved and uploaded the .rar file so hopefully that may help with your problems. Sorry i didn't realize it was doing that as I had no issues. Thanks for letting me know.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I'm having the same problem as LD82. I'm assuming it is because of the difference in patch levels as I only have currently (I don't have anything past World Adventures).

It's a VERY lovely upload though, and I do want to thank you for sharing it. :D
