October 26, 2013: Compatible with version 1.63 and Into the Future.

Past Updates

In one of my families, they have a home gym that gets a lot of use. With all the use of the gym, and I increasing how many clothing piles sims can make in one day, the hamper in the gym was getting filled fairly quick. So I decided to see if I could increase the space in the hamper.

My mod increases how many clothing piles the hamper can hold. By default, the hamper can hold 10 clothing piles before it is full. With my mod, you have seven choices to change that. You can increase the hamper capacity to 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, or 40, and just in case there are people who want the hamper to hold less, there is one that lowers the hamper's capacity to 5. When downloading this mod, you can only choose one.

This is a simple XML mod, so it shouldn't conflict with any mods, unless you have a mod that edits the Hamper XML file.

oooo, come here I want to shake your hand, I always thought that 10 piles was to small and with bigger families it doesn't take much time at all to fill up the baskets..thank you so much for this.

Wow! Thanks for this very useful Mod! I too am working with a large family, who has their own exercise equipment in the basement. There is also a bathroom down there, along with the Butler's Quarters. Needless to say, the hampers down there, in the gym area, and the bathroom fill up quickly. And, while the family Butler seems to attend to the hampers on the upper floor in a timely fashion, she tends to ignore those in the basement, until there are piles of dirty laundry lying everywhere ! Bonehilda seems to be more interested in straightening up the back patio and pool area than the basement level of the house. Your Mod was exacttly what my family needed. So, here's a pint of "The Good Stuff" for you , and I hope you'll continue making Mods as useful as this one .

Rather late reply, but yes, it is compatible with 1.67. I highly doubt this mod will ever need an update, since EA has never changed the hamper code.
