Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
I love having the grandparents help raise the grandchildren, so I started a series of Generation Houses. I did some awhile back but I need some now that will fit in Twinbrook. The first one I did for Twinbrook is my Magnolia Manor.

This home has a master suite, 4 child bedrooms and a bonus room where I have the grandparents. (If you don’t do grandparents it would be great for the butler, being right up from the kitchen or a band room since it is over the garage.)

The main floor has:
Great room
Study / Den
Kitchen with bar seating
Full bath with laundry
Formal Dinning room
Master suite

The upstairs has:
4 child bedrooms
4 full baths
Bonus room over the garage

The basement:
Is just there. WA style. Are your simmies into collecting? Nectar making? A mad scientist? The Arts? Music? Whatever you need it to be, it’s there.

The lot has:
Swimming pool
Hot tub
Garage for 2
Balcony
2 porches
Room for 4 more cars to park

I have all EPs/SPs. If you don’t have FL all you will lose is the seating and lights in the Great room. There are no HELS items or WA. BUT, I forgot the basement I gave it is WA style, so not sure how that will work. The two you need the most are LN and AM both for build and furnishings.

Enjoy!

HUGE THANKS to MTS for a place to share and you for looking!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Oh, how I love this house. It is large, but not TOO large. Fancy, but not "Oh my god, why the hell is this house in my neighborhood" fancy. Awesome job here :D

Looks interesting but your next house may want to put different flooring in different rooms...like tile in bathrooms. Otherwise a good looking house.

Thanks everyone!

Zoltan - OMGosh! I always put tile in the baths and sometimes the kitchens! I can't believe I forgot to change it out!

Edit:
Ok - I couldn't stand it! It now has tile in the baths.

I like this! I also play with grandparents, and have a hard time finding homes I like that are large enough. The child rooms are smaller than what I have now, but I think I will try this out. Thank you! I hope you will make more houses.

I love it! It's a great place for families and looks like the standard, family home. Can't wait to have my Sims grandparents in there.

Thanks everyone! I am glad I am not the only one that likes to play the grandparents! I was trying to keep this down to the least amount of ep's and sp's but the patterns are not marked so I tried to stay with what I knew was from the base game.

Well, it is Christmas Eve here and I have more baking to do so Merry Christmas to Everyone!

Oh, what a lovely House, seems it's just what I needed for my main Family! (The eldest daughter is in my userpic) Large, but not too large, with enough bedrooms for all the kids and even a place for the Butler (since grandparents will move out...) I always searched for a Generation home like this, and this seems to be just the right House for them. I can't wait to move the Family in there... Thanks alot!

By far one of the BEST houses I've seen so far! (I'm tired of the fantasy houses and this is realistic) )
