May I introduce Benjamin Benton and his darling wife Beatrice?
This small family has been a definite part of my neighbourhoods since I first got Sims 3.

They're both ridiculously sweet seniors - the ideal grandpa and grandma, maybe?

Benjamin Benton is 80+ years. He's a very humble and good man who enjoys being outdoors and particulary loves fishing. Though having been married to his 'darling Bea' for nearly 60 years, he still consider her to be his best friend and joy and he would wish to have an extra 60 years to spend with her.

Traits
Good
Hopeless romantic
Friendly
Loves the outdoors
Angler

Beatrice Benton is a year or two younger than her husband, who definitely is the love of her life! She has always been a friendly, loving creature and as her wish of having a large family sadly was never fulfilled she finds comfort in a large acquaintance. Lately Beatrice have started to experience some short-term memory loss and absentmindedness and ashamed and unwilling to worry her husband she tries to hide this to her best ability.

Traits
Good
Family oriented
Hopeless romantic
Neat
Absent minded

Both sims are saved with base-game clothing and hairs only - no custom content at all.

I'm using Drakah's CAS Sliders. If you wish to edit the sims you will need to use the slider mod, or else their facial features will snap back to default.

Aikea Guinea's Default Skintone Replacements (Female Bodies & Faces)

and

Subaxi's Skintone (Male Bodies and Faces). Notice that this link is for the non-default version of that skintone, but Benjamin is packed with the default version, that seems not to be obtainable anymore.

The sims will probably not look that much different - or maybe even better - with other skintones, though.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

They are adorable together! I have a love for Sim elderly couples, and these sims will be a great addition to my neighborhood! Question: Have you actually already played them, or did you only just create them?

Great job, keep creating!

Its nice to see something more original and I feel sometimes the elderly Sims have a tendency to be overlooked. This is too cute to pass up. Thanks!

Thank you all so much! I'm so happy that you like them. I believe elderly sims to be overlooked as well. I work with the elderly and know how much personality and balance they can bring!

Oscarzoa - I have never had a neighbourhood without them! I've never actually played with them for any extensive period of time, but I God-mod a lot so I occassionally visit them to change something in their day and create a history!

Note that Benjamin and Beatrice are definitely meant to be elderly - they do not look very good as anything younger .

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Aww, they look so sugary, sweet. Would I be a bad person for saying I want to eat them?

I like how you created this couple, the faces are so interesting and definitely unique. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely couple. I'll be giving them a grandchild to raise. Killing off it's parents (My cemetery needs ghosts! Right now, it's pretty empty.), but at least they'll have their little grandchild to ease their loss. May make the kid a demon though. Like that little blonde-haired girl in that old 50's movie who killed off her playmates. The Bad Seed. Or maybe a Damien brat. Will be a nice contrast.
Anyway, thanks for this lovely couple. Just wish more people - including EA - would make our elders some decent clothes and such.

Thank you SO much for this couple! I luv them! I go and visit them frequently. I found that their tv was broke so i called someone to fix it..apparently the house had been built so that the tv repair guy couldnt fix the tv..so then i had to change active household and such to get them a tv. I felt so good helping them..lol. They are so cute!
