Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi There!

I want to share some tiny lots I have made recently. They were originally made for a building challenge at The Sim Supply, but I thought they were nice, so I wanted to share them with everyone

There are 3 houses in the set. One tiny cottage, one tiny suburban, and one tiny modern.

Why such a mixed set?
The thing these lots have in common is the footprint/frame, which is 6x6 in all of them. The idea of the challenge was to concentrate more on decorating and landscaping.

To read full info on the lots please see the first comments!!

General info:
  • All lots have been built on a 20x20 lot
  • All houses have been built into a 6x6 frame
  • Since the houses are so small, I tried to pay extra amount of attention on landscaping and decorating
  • Prices go from 14699 UF to 50468 F, no starters, sorry.

CC used not included:
Natural Garden Edgers by HugeLunatic Used on all 3 lots
Backless showers by HugeLunatic Used on Garden Cottage
CAST yourself a chimney! by me Used on Garden Cottage

A mod used when building:
Curtain height adjustment by granthes I suggest you get this mod to keep the curtains where they are

Game Requirements:
All the lots were built with Base Game, WA, Ambitions and Late Night installed. I have used content from all of these, so they are required for the lots to look the same.
My game is patched to 6.1.11, so you will need to be patched to same or higher.

Downloading:
I have uploaded all the houses in one pack, plus also individually. You can choose whether you want them all or just some. If you get armiel_All lots.rar, you don't need to download the individual lots.

Additional credits:
The Simsupply for the challenge
HugeLunatic, granthes and me for the CC/mod

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This is driving me crazy and I never thought to ask anyone; how are you getting objects rotated only slightly? For the life of me I cannot figure out how to do that.

Cymboluk, I had the same issue in a house I made myself; no missing floor or wall tiles anywhere, yet unfinished moodlet. I ended up deleting that save for other reasons.
