This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Update 2-24-12: I was changing my sims outfit in CAS and noticed that the right sleeves of the Puma shirts did not have the cat logo on it like the left sleeves had on them. This has been fixed.
Update 6-03-11: I felt the hem on the shirts were distracting so I fixed them so they wouldn't be.
If you have downloaded the shirt package and want the updated file please replace the old file with the new one.

Ages: Teen, Young Adult, Adult
Gender: Male
Clothing Category: Everyday, Athletic, Career

Hi guys!
It's getting warm now and I thought my guys could use some nice athletic gear for their wardrobe so I created a compilation of compression shirts to show off those muscles with shorts to match!

Instead of making separate items that use individual rows in Create A Sim I decided to make a shirt file and a shorts file containing gear from Nike, Adidas, and Puma that uses one row in your game (now you know what "& Some" refers to) . There are two versions of each designer tee, one that has heavy detail and the second that does not. I made the second version for those who wanted to apply their own textures to the shirt though applying texture to the first shirt looks good too. As with the shirt, the shorts comes in two styles. One with a net-like mesh and the second without it. I did this for the same reason I did for the second shirt style. Enjoy everyone!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Excellent work! I've been looking for some high qaulity sports wear. Thanks! :D
#5 Old 22nd Apr 2011 at 3:34 PM
Thank you, the athletic wear in the game is kind of sad.
I wonder if you might consider making a child's version of it, their sport wear options are even worse!

It's funny, the other 3 open, but that one kept saying "corrupt" for some reason when I tried to open it, but I gave it another try today, and viola, it worked. Love your work - thanks for responding back. Robert

You're welcome ghogin and Hexagonatic and I appreciate the kudos.

No problem, Robert. I'm glad the download "kicked in" for you and thank you for your comment.

apeno09, we've chatted in the past. If I take up your suggestion I'll make the pick because you hadn't given me anything to work with when I gave you the opportunity to pick two items of your choice.

apen09, no need for an apology. I just need pictures and the name of the exact clothes item you have in mind. If I can get this from you then I will know what to do from there.

BiggieMNE, you put the file in your Mods/Packages folder that needs to be in this area:
My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages
The Mods and Package folders that shows up in the last part of in the path above are folders you will need to make in The Sims 3 directory through your My Documents or Documents folder. Make the Mods folder first then after doing so put this file in it: Resource.cfg. You can find this file here:
Once you pull up this page scroll down a little and you should see the title How to install Resource.cfg. Just below it is the link to download the file. When the Resource.cfg file is placed in the Mods folder create another folder where the Resource.cfg is and name it Packages

After following the steps above your new Mods folder should look like this: Mods --> inside this folder should be the Resource.cfg file and a folder named Packages

When you have the above set up completed you can put the Nike and Some Pro Athletic Set file(s) inside your Packages folder then it should show in the Create-A-Sim area in the Tops section when you play your game. You should place all .package files like Nike and Some Pro Athletic Set in the Packages folder too.

If you run into problems making the Mods folder or with getting the file to show in your game please let me know.
