Welcome to the Cute N' Cozy Micro Starter Cottage.

I decided to challenge myself to build on a 1x1 lot with the base game only. This is the result. I hope you like it!

I had a hard time deciding between a version for 2 or 3 sims, so I give you both. The main room and the master bedroom are the same for both versions. See the other screenshots for the difference in floorplans and the other rooms. I have play tested both versions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

It's amazing how close you were to come between the two versions. I was looking the pics and thought, "How does she have bedroom and then it's a bathroom O.o?" Great work lol.

Morphead- Yeah, I just couldn't decide between the two, but I wanted it to be as close as possible. =)

Piakalle- you have to get used to using the constrainfloorelevation cheat to build things on split levels. Here is a tutorial by plasticbox to get you started learning about the stairs. It may take a while to get used to, but its worth the effort. I used a similar technique to what is explained in this tutorial. Once you start feeling comfortable with the stairs, you may want to look into split level rooms, and complex attics! There are lots of tutorials in the Create area of this site that you may want to check out. The ones for the Sims 2 are helpful as well. I first learned these techniques while playing the Sims 2
