Very useful! Actually to me the "shiftable" part is the most important, but castable is good too.

Just want to clarify what the relationship between the three downloads is... if you want your alarms to be castable/shiftable AND long range, you need both those packages? And the third will make them vanish as well? Or does each of the three downloads contain a different version of the alarm?

Thanks for asking.
CASTable and Vanish are seperate and will not conflict, you can pick and choose which one you want where.

Extended range will affect ALL alarms, not just the ones I made.
Considered to be cheaty by some, so made it external.

Finally! Those damn alarms will now be CASTable! Thank God! Hate those ugly things. I always manage to hide the burglar alarm behind something but the fire alarm is a hard one. CASTing them will make the deco more assorted and fun
Plus my rich sims will now have golden alarms. How ironic and tempting for the burglars ^^

Thank you! Never understood the logic behind not having the alarms CASTable.

I've been thinking about making a CASTable version of these but have been busy with so many other things. I'm glad I can mark my older recolourable versions as outdated now.

Having now not only CASTable but also shiftable fire and burglar alarm is just great. Thank you very much for sharing your work with us!

CASTable = create-a-style/recolorable? I like the longer range and shiftable options as well.

The original alarms by EA only come in one color of one material. Grey Plastic if I'm not mistaken. By making them CASTable, you can now change the material and color to anything the game offers.

If you are asking what CASTable means ... Create-a-Style (CAST).
CAW = Create-a-World
CAS = Create-a-Sim (that's why we added the T to CASTable

is this still compatible with the 1.38 patch? I'm having trouble with some mods, my game is shutting down in CAS, I am going through all of my mods one by one for the third time...

Yes it is, mine with 1.38 work like a charm.

I know I'm going to come over stupid asking this, but I just want to be sure - can only two be used at the same time? I think I made a mistake installing all three and now I'm getting crashes! lol I wanted Castable, Vanishing and Full Range, but if all three crashes the game, then obviously I can't. So if I want Castable and Full Range, this is okay? Or Vanishing and Full Range? Or Vanishing and Castable (but not Full Range)?

And also, how do you shift the Castable alarms? I can only get them to stay in one position on the wall. Thank you for your patience and help. These are great mods!
