Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
So, for a little while I have had people begging me to upload this fellow, first seen as a model in my Stupendous Splotches upload. I have finally found him in my Sim bin, and decided to finish the job.

So, without further ado, here is Renegade!

Renegade is a 7-year-old Gypsy Vanner stallion. His traits are Agile, Brave and Lazy. If you can get him motivated, he is a fantastic mount. He's also very happy to nap the whole day away!

CC required
Renegade requires my Stupendous Splotches marking set to appear correctly in-game.

Thanks to heaven for his name.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

In addition to taking advantage of the the information in WIKI here are a couple of other things you might want to make sure you did:

Downloaded: Stupendous Splotches as advised on the download detail page
Unzipped Renegade to the Saved Sims folder.

This worked okay for me; hope it helps.

Wowee, what a beautiful Gypsy! You've done so well with him! If there's one thing that annoys me about EA's horse manes and tails, it's the fact that they can't be more than one solid colour, like the forelock of this lovely boy I met on holiday in Yorkshire: http://i619.photobucket.com/albums/...ingx/Mickie.jpg. Unless they can and I'm just an unobservant idiot - in which case, someone please let me know.

He is amazing! Unfortunately, he (and all of the other pets!) don't show up as .SIM files or .PACKAGE files. It says he's a .SIM, but the Launcher can't install him and he doesn't have the Sims logo next to his file. I'll just have to try to copy him.

Installing .sim and .package files is not done through the launcher. If you go to the Install Instructions tab of this download, you can find a link to our guides on how to install .sim files.
