To Delete.
Chance cards: None

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Sims 3
Warning! There are no files attached to this upload. If this is a "group project" or multi-part upload please check the comments for more files.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Accounting Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship can promote into my Accountant Career. Only the Base Game is needed.

Join Text ~ By taking an Apprenticeship in Accounting, you’ll begin to build skills in Writing, Logic and Charisma, essential skills for a career in Accounting. There are three stages of the full Apprenticeship; the Intermediate, the Advanced and the Higher. Those who pass will receive certificates of achievements, so get cracking!

The Apprenticeship is located at the Business and Journalism office and has a custom uniform for all three levels. It focuses on the Logic, Charisma and Writing skills.

1. Accounts Assistant ~ Intermediate: The first level of your Accounting Apprenticeship will enable you to learn how the accounts are drawn up. This level requires you to work on your Logic skill and will help you build your Writing and Logic skills. As an Accounts Assistant for a business, you’re going to help the Bookkeeper out by doing a lot of the maths. It doesn’t sound very exciting, but it is hands-on experience, and that’s the whole point of the apprenticeship, after all!
§10/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

2. Assistant Accountant ~ Advanced: Since you’re staying on for the Advanced course, you’ve been promoted to Assistant Accountant. You’re being taught the basic accounting concepts and how to implement them. And what does that mean, I hear you ask? Well, it means you’re shadowing the Accountants and watching what they do and learning their techniques.
§15/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3. Accounts Manager ~ Higher: The business you’ve been working with through the apprenticeship has promoted you to Accounts Manager. This doesn’t mean you can order everyone around; it just means you’re in charge of the creation of the accounts. After all, you’re still learning the basic ropes. The last leg of your apprenticeship is here. The accounts are now in your hands and it’s a perfect opportunity to tutor the newcomers to the Intermediate course. The only way is up and into the real world as an Accountant. Congratulations on your dedication!
§20/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

There are three custom tones; Client Roleplay, which builds the Charisma skill; Assess Business, which builds the Writing skill and Sit Exam, which boosts overall performance.

Construction Building Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship can promote into my Builder and Decorator Career. Ambitions is required for the Uniforms.

Join Text ~ By taking an Apprenticeship in Construction Building, you’ll begin skills in Painting, Logic and Athletic, essential skills for a career in Building or Decorating. There are three stages to the full Apprenticeship; the Intermediate, the Advanced and the Higher. Those who pass will receive certificates of achievements, so get cracking!

The Apprenticeship is located at the City Hall and has a custom uniform for all three levels. The Uniforms require Ambitions. It focuses on the Logic, Painting and Athletic skills.

1. Painter ~ Intermediate: Splish splash, slap it on the wall! You’ve begun the first step in your Construction Apprenticeship and you’re a Painter! This isn’t painting in watercolours or oil-based paints and making pretty pictures. If that’s what you’re after, then perhaps a Fine Arts Major at University might be best for you! No, as a painter, you’re going to learn how to prepare background surfaces for painting and then apply paint by brush or roller. It might sound like pretty tame stuff, but it will provide you with challenges!
§10/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

2. Maintenance Operative ~ Advanced: You’ve earned the title of Maintenance Operative. This is really a fancy way of saying that if anything breaks, it’s your fault. Well, actually it’d be your advisors fault, but you’d share the blame. So just be vigilant, keep everything on-site in perfect working order and you’ll be able to continue your Apprenticeship with all limbs in tact.
§15/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3. Royal Engineer (Carpenter and Joiner) ~ Higher: You’ve reached the final leg of your Construction Building Apprenticeship and your new title is that of a Royal Engineer. No, you’re not about to meet the Queen. Not unless she’s requiring a Carpenter or Joiner, at any rate. No, this title means you’re close to completing your Apprenticeship and will soon be ready to become a real Builder in the big wide world. Or at least in your local town. Congratulations on your dedication!
§20/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

There are three custom tones; Paint Walls, which builds the Painting skill; Work Out, which builds the Athletic skill and Sit Exam, which boosts overall performance.

Hospitality and Catering Apprenticeship

There are three stages to the full Apprenticeship; the Intermediate, the Advanced and the Higher. Those who pass will receive certificates of achievements, so get cracking!

The Apprenticeship is located at the Restaurant and has a custom uniform for all three levels. The uniform for levels two and three are different from level one, so don’t be alarmed when the uniform changes. It focuses on the Cooking skill.

1. Receptionist ~ Intermediate: So, you’re starting an apprenticeship in Hospitality and Catering. Well, good on you! You’re not starting out in the kitchen, but as a Receptionist for the posh restaurants in town, booking tables and such. It’s all part of the hospitality and will be essential for whatever line of work you end up choosing.
§10/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

2. Waiter/Waitress ~ Advanced: As a waiter/waitress, you’re simply taking orders, giving food to the customers, clearing tables, handing out bills, collecting money, taking change and tidying the restaurant when everyone’s gone home. You’ll probably feel exhausted when you get home but just remind yourself that it’s worth it!
§15/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3. Cook ~ Higher: Now you can be the cook! So pay close attention to the orders and don’t go cooking the wrong meals. It’s a waste of food and if you continue to do so, the restaurant owners will find you a waste of wages. And you’d have to kiss goodbye to your Apprenticeship. So, be vigilant! You’re on the last step of your catering journey and will soon be ready to be released to the hungry masses. Congratulations on your dedication!

ICT Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship can promote into my IT Career. Only the Base Game is needed.

Join Text ~ By taking an Apprenticeship in ICT, you’ll begin skills in Handiness, Logic and Charisma, essential skills for a career in ICT. There are three stages to the full Apprenticeship; the Intermediate, the Advanced and the Higher. Those who pass will receive certificates of achievements, so get cracking!

The Apprenticeship is located at the Business and Journalism Office and has a custom uniform for all three levels. It focuses on the Handiness, Logic and Charisma skills.

1. Helpdesk Professional ~ Intermediate: Your charisma skills are going to be essential here as you help customers identify problems with their laptops and computers. It’s going to be up to you to identify, troubleshoot and escalate IT problems and be as helpful to the customers as possible. But one word of advice: Don’t get angry with the impatient customers. Put yourself in their place. If your computer had crashed in the middle of your Sims legacy, you’d be upset too.
§10/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

2. Software Tester ~ Advanced: So new software is being developed all the time. But before the software can be released to the software-hungry masses, they need to be extensively tested and that’s where you come in! While you’re testing the programmes and reporting issues, you’ll be learning how to make the software so that one day, you might become a Developer yourself.
§15/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3. Software Developer ~ Higher: Ahh, how you reminisce on the days of merely being a Tester. Okay, so it was only yesterday, but that doesn’t matter. You’re a developer yourself now and you call the shots. Sort of. You’re in charge of your own group of Software Testers who will test your pieces of software. Start small, don’t try and make a huge programme on your first try. It’s bound to end in heartache, misery and possible unemployment. Congratulations on your dedication!
§20/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

There are three custom tones; Mend Computers, which builds the Handiness skill; Troubleshoot, which builds the Charisma skill and Sit Exam, which boosts overall performance.

The Apprenticeship is located at the School and has a custom uniform for all three levels. It focuses on the Logic and Charisma skills.

§10/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm

§15/hour
Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

3. Learning and Development Advisor ~ Higher: Some of the children in the school really struggle with the work. They’re keen to learn, but find it difficult. So you’re there to help them out and work out the best ways for these individuals to learn. It can be stressful, but with enough logic and charismatic abilities, you’ll sail through this aspect of your apprenticeship with ease. Congratulations on your dedication!

Music Business Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship can promote into the Music Career. Late Night and University Life are required.

§10/hour

2. Venue and Stage Crew ~ Advanced: When the bands have a gig, somebody has to set the stage up beforehand and make sure the lighting is ready, the microphones are working and the set won’t collapse on the band during the performance. You’re also responsible for booking the venues well in advance, so don’t think of leaving it to the last minute. The band won’t be as understanding as your teacher might be!

Hours: 4.00pm ~ 7.00pm

3. A&R (Artists and Repertoire) ~ Higher: So, after all this time behind the scenes, you’re finally the one on stage, and not just to do a sound and lighting check. You’re one of the artists! Congratulations on your dedication!

You’ve secured a place in the Youth team and as such, you’re considered to be an Amateur! Congratulations on your dedication!

How do the apprenticeships react with degrees? i.e. if you get a degree with an A and you have a level three apprenticeship, do you start at level 10, 4, or 6?
