Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

lot size: 10x10
price: $16.480 f / $14.893 uf

a miniature townhouse-style starter that can sleep 3-4 sims without too much of a squeeze. most extra furniture and decoration got axed in order to afford a nicer tv and bookshelf, but it still comes with all the basics. there's enough room in the small side yard to cram a telescope/chess set, grill, and some seating.

- late night was used for some furnishings (bar stools, tv, bookshelf).
- generations was used for spiral stairs.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I love the look of this but can't seem to get it too install because apparently it requires some EP or SP stuff I don't have. I have Late Night, Generations and 70s, 80s and 90s stuff so it should work right?

very strange! in my experience, i've yet to run into a compatibility issue re: houses; if you don't have the necessary expansion/stuff pack, the game should simply replace the missing items with things from base game. the only thing i can imagine it being is a patch level incompatibility. this lot was made with version 1.50; if you have anything lower than that, you'll need to update in order to install this house.

That's it, I just hadn't updated to the latest patch!

So excited to move a new family into this house now, it's got to be the best starter I've ever seen! Thanks for your help!
