'Near The Beach'

'Near The Beach', as the name may suggest, is a house that is meant to look like it is situated near to the beach, but not actually at the beach - kind of like a house that's just down the road from the beach or something. I hope I've stayed as faithful to this as I possibly could - it isn't always easy to stick to a style that's 'sort of like a beach house' with the limited options provided by EA/Maxis.

This house is built on a 2x2 lot and costs £63,528. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and there is also space for your sims to do some gardening in the back garden. There is also a single garage. This house is No CC - no need to download any, and none is included.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

You've done a super job with the near the beach look! The diagonal siding sets the tone and the fresh whites and beiges carry it through. Take it from someone who has rented "steps from the beach" houses in Oxnard, CA, you captured the feel!

Wow this is really great. I needed a house that looked exactly like this. (Also because I can't make a real-looking home.) Thanks for the great download!!
