Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

I'm not big on words, so let's just see what Sunset Valley residents had to say about Buttermint Cottage.
  • "Sweet like candy yet cool like mint, and definitely smooth as butter on the eyes." --Vita Alto, mayor
  • "Even I was happy while staying here." --Agnes Crumplebottom, grump officianado
  • "Charming and romantic! And I didn't get lost between the bedroom and the kitchen!" --Nancy Landgraab, town richer
  • "Solitude. And fishing. Yes yes." --Christopher Steele, handsome loaf
  • "I found nature outdoors and some Teamocil* in the medicine cabinet. I completely blue myself while painting." --Gobias Koffi, local variety

Why not let your Sims have some fun, too?*
Check your local Real Estate services and move in today.

*Happiness likely but not guaranteed. Teamocil may cause temporary taste loss, never nudeness, and funke moodlets: For your Sims' safety, Teamocil has been removed from the medicine cabinets.

All sillies aside, this lot was a delight to create and a lot of fun to play-test. I hope you enjoy it, too.
Check out the other pictures to see more of the home's details, both inside and out.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

And I was completely tickled by the Gobias Koffi and Tobias Funke reference. Great job!

All I can say, is WOW! There really aren't words in my vocabulary to do justice to this beautiful house. I love the landscaping and the colors inside. It's very nature-friendly. I can imagine that my outdoor, or ecology friendly sims would love this house. Thank you for sharing.

I'm a sucker for CC-free lots and this is a great example of how even EA content can be used to make something lovely, if the builder is talented enough.

Very pleasant place! Nice colours and interesting ideas. Love columns myself. And the absence of custom content - also a big plus.
