Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

OVERVIEW
I've been using this for some time and thought I'd share for those who might be interested. It simply removes the "Inappropriate trait" restriction on sponge baths, allowing any sim teen thru elder to take a sponge bath. Why, perhaps your sim is poor and can only afford a sink, or the tub/shower is broken, your sim had an accident on a public lot and there is only a sink available, your current lot doesn't really fit in with a tub or shower, or whatever reason you can come up with.

TIPS
  • The same privacy rules apply to sponge baths as regular baths and showers
  • Sponge baths only advertise at 50 for hygiene, so Sims will still prefer baths/showers first
  • Not available for toddlers or children (by EA default)

CONFLICTS/INFO
This mod edits the SpongeBath_Sink ITUN from GamePlayData package and will conflict with any other mod which does the same. Created with patch 1.63 and should only require the base game.

Awesome! This adds a greater degree of real-ness to my really poor struggling folks who can't afford a shower yet! :)

For some odd reason with this mod installed when I tell a sim to sleep or shower, the sim stands for approx. 3 sim hours in front of the shower or bed before they change out of their clothes and finally get in bed or take a shower. Someone mentioned pausing the game for a few seconds when this happens and it should clear it up when unpausing, but I did that and they still stood there. However, when I remove the mod, delete my cache files, and restart the game (it happened in more than one saved game, so I know it wasn't the particular save) I don't have that issue. As far as I know I don't have any other mods that uses the spongebath xml file, so it's odd.
