Little Forest Glen used to be the home of a family of gnomes, but they moved when it was discovered and photographed for a Calendar Contest: (March)

http://www.simfansuk.com/sims/forum...alendar-Contest

Instead of leaving the house empty and abandoned, it has now been redecorated and furnished for Sims. Thanks to inexpensive cc, the house is priced at 19.953 and includes all skill items, phone, and fire alarm. Test Sim, Melina Woods, was able to entertain three visitors without running over each other, thanks to the outdoor chess set. The file uploaded here, however, has never been lived in. Your Sims will be the first!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Charming! A Sim who lives here would seem to have their priorities straight! ~ I need to actually see if I can manage a starter-price home myself sometime! (last time I tried I ended up in the $150,000 range- seriously)

Charmful, I think you're right about the hermit part, since Little Forest Glen is really only big enough for one Sim. There is room to add on though, come to think of it. Thanks so much for commenting!

Thanks so much lorinsv60! For me starters are hardest to make interesting and still be under 20K.

Catherine! I believe gnomes are super shy and have to stay off the grid. Are you playing tonight? Are the scores working? Thanks so much for your comment!

Zarathustra, I'm thrilled to receive your comment and I have to agree, starters are super hard. I rarely build them. I can imagine you would have trouble too since you build on a grand scale!

Triciamanly, I love your creations, because of their simplicity (intended as beauty, purity, clarity). Everything is in its place, everything seems so natural, but you can reach this effect only with a very intelligent work. Even more difficult in the case of a starter.

I moved in a teen seeking refuge from a very family oriented mother and father. She stayed there making friends with school chums until time to go to university. It was a great way to have room for the next set of twins that gave her parents the ten they were craving. It plays beautifully!

Yay for the independent teen! Wow, what a huge family! Good luck with the twins. When I first started playing I had a set of twins and lost them to the social worker. Their mother kept working and hired a nanny, but the nanny couldn't keep up and I didn't know how to stop the twins from playing in the toilet. I do know now, in fact, my Sim mothers have gotten better. Thanks so much for your comment!

The BV pack has hidden lots that you can visit by "finding" an old map during your travels. The hidden burrow is the home of the big foot who will teach you the slap dance and might even come home with you. I learned on here how to make them and have done so for several of my own vacation spots.
