This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Snazzy indeed!

While poking around for more costumes to hide, I came across these tuxedos. They are, I believe, the uniforms for the top level in the Symphonic branch in the Music career. I don't play the Music career much (and the Symphonic one even less!) so I had no idea that there were two tuxedos available!

Since there are barely any tuxedos for females, I figured I'd make them usable because entering cheats to make them visible each time is too much work for lazy me :P

The weird part is that there are two versions of this tuxedo in the game files: a regular one, and an "unlocked" one, for each version.
I assume the "unlocked" one refers to the career outfit, so I edited the other one; the career outfit is not affected by these changes.

Details
  • For Young Adult - Elder males and females.
  • They were already in Everyday, Formal, Career, and Outerwear, and I also enabled them for Makeovers and Random.
  • The only presets are the black ones. I recolored them for the previews so you can see them better.

As you can see, they look amazing on tall sims <3

Credit for the poses goes to the lovely simsimi!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I like the male formalwear in TS3, I would try to convert it for females if the FullBuild packages weren't as messy. I hate tuxes, and these are just the worst. I suppose TS4 has some male stuff that I could convert for TS3 females...

I think they're fantastic. I love tails! Even after all the expansions, I still don't feel like I have enough variety in male formalwear. Thank you for finding these!

I love these. Do you have any plans to make a teen male version? I have been searching everywhere for a teen male version.
