OMG
I did not want to play with a huge tank in my household for its heavy bulky size but this one is unresistable
we gonna catch all that deco fish and make it home for.

Nope...I made sure all the fish remain inside the tank and don't clip with each other or the tank's environment. Same goes for lobsters as they properly stand on top of the sand in multiple spots

Very cool, but unfortunately something is preventing it from showing up in my build/buy. I can search for it, which made me think "Well, it's there" but even after the game took me to the page it thought the object should be on it was not showing. Tried clearing the cache/etc. No luck. Honestly not sure why it's not showing up when it lets me search for it and knows the name of the object and where it should be.

I managed to get one on my lot by writing a quick script to force spawn the object and it works great then

May have to try running a repair game in Origin, tomorrow it's late already. Could be an entitlement issue that you're not seeing for some reason that prevents it from showing up as well. I only have BG, Get Together, Get To Work and Outdoor Retreat. Hopefully my system is just freaking and maybe that repair game will fix it, because this is awesome looking -- great work!

Hi scumbumbo, do you see all the fish animations in the tank? All the smaller fish? The fish look like all the ones available in base game, and at a guess I'd say the small versions of fish are the ones seen in fish bowl animations. But I'm wondering if they might be the small fish animations seen in the glass coffee table from My First Pet pack, which could lead to the issue of it having trouble showing in your game without that stuff pack installed?

In my own game this object works perfectly, instantly visible, buyable and place-able from build/buy catalogue. So I'm wondering if it's a missing animation thing that's causing difficulty in your game? Or the object itself could be based on the Maxis aquariums from either Spa Day or Dine Out GPs or Cats & Dogs EP? Which again could be problematic without those packs installed? Even the bubble animations in the tank, if they come from a pack you don't have installed?

@scumbumbo Hmm that's odd not sure why that's happening to be honest as you're the first person that notified me with this issue. I'm guessing it's something from your side as I have tested this in 2 different systems, both vanilla and DLC included and it worked fine. Maybe try removing all of your other mods temporarily to see if it shows up then?

@coolspear1 Like I mentioned all the animations/FX in the game are available for everyone regardless on whether you have the dlc they came from or not, so I doubt that is the issue. The little fishes are indeed from the MFPS table, but in a vanilla game it works fine

@simsi45 Beats the heck out'ta me, but I'm no object design expert. There are some tuning errors in the XML but that should not affect it showing up. Tried a game repair and of course a clean mods folder, even a new save game -- but still not there.

It does work perfectly in my game when I add the object via a script command to spawn it though, just doesn't show up in build/buy at all even though I can search for it. It will appear in the household inventory if I drag/drop one in there. I've honestly never seen anything quite like this.

@scumbumbo Huh, that is honestly so weird...I really can't wrap my head as to why this is happening, especially considering the fact it IS actually working as expected. I did just test it on my end once again (with and without dlc) and still appears/works just fine. I'll take another look at it if I manage to find some time, but can't promise anything. Hey, at least it's working so that's something I guess, haha. (I'm guessing you have the latest version installed, right? Just making sure )

Yeah, not expecting any promises particularly if I'm the only one seeing that behavior. The only theory I can come up with is that it works for you, even without the DLC expansions installed, as your account is still entitled to the needed expansion -- but that's really just a complete guess. Wouldn't know how to change that as the game pack is locked out in Studio (to prevent people editing the pack ID to release pirate expansion packs).

And for that very reason I hesitate to say here how I got it working. I'll PM you. It's definitely an entitlement issue.

I have the same problem as scumbumbo for the aquarium not showing up in activities/skills recreation. I tried showhiddenobjects, buydebug, nothing works. I have the base game, Get to work, Outdoor retreat, and Get together. All updated to the latest patch.
