I really like how the colored items stand out behind the smoky glass.

Hello
Beautiful set! I have a question though...the fridge and dishwasher have .bak extensions--I have never seen that before (just the .package files)--are these okay to use in game? Thanks so much!

Sandy, delete the fridge BAK file, as there is a fridge package file in the zip. The dishwasher needs to be changed to a package file extension to be read by the game. You can dowload it to your desktop, then right click on it and rename the .bak extension to .package. Keep the beginning of the filename the same. Then cut and paste it into your Downloads directory. The game will properly read it when it is renamed to a package file. This way, you can use it ingame, until the creator corrects the file extension. The BAK files are backup copies made by SimPE.

Looks really great!!! Thx a lot for this wonderfull recolor. Maybe i should consider to download it. Just if i ever got time to play the game myself, i had a very, very nice option for my kitchen

And i thought about making the front of the dishwasher transparent myself. But i skipped it. Reason: I wandered to my kitchen and asked myself, if i would really like to have a look inside it when running with all those noodles, red sauce etc. . Well, i didn't want to think this any further and chose the non-transparent version

*Solander gives Harpy0 a big hug*

P.S.: Maybe i'll send you a sneak preview tonight. Next project already in my mind And you shouldn't have thanked me for being part of the creation. I'll make you my test slave
**Come on, harpy0, hurry! Don't be so lazy. I have 26 versions of this unimportant little glass to be tested until tonight  And if you tested them all in every possible combination, please try do prepare an asortement of 15 different material definition variations for an uncount number of different surface states :smash: **

Thanks so much everyone.

There is a .bak file that I forgot to delete. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING. If the .bak file bothers you, simply delete it. The fridge .package is already in there. If you change the .bak, you'll only overwrite the fridge file with the same exact file. You will not lose or harm anything by deleting the .bak.

Hehe Solander! You know it! It'd be an honor. Sneak previews get me all excited :D.

Harpy, sorry for the confusion! The Pearl dishwasher zip only contains a bak file, and no package file. This is the one I changed so the game could read it.
Thanks again for the beautiful recolor!

Thank you everyone. Nothing pleases me more than to know that you like these recolors (even though the counters have no sides, hehe). I wish I knew a way around that, but I'm happy to see that no one is having a problem with it. I've always liked glass doors on cabinets, and hopefully others will find new potentials for unique recolors.

Thanks Sissy04, I'm a big fan of your work too.
