Pleasantville Community Wedding Chapel

This is my interpretation of a outdoor wedding venue more like the ones we have where I live. This download uses the framework an idea first presented to this site by AIRWAY available HERE:

The Pleasantville Wedding Chapel features a Dining Area, DJ, Hostess, a community buffet table, Waiters, a Full Kitchen, Men's and Women's Lounges, and Presents, the following objects also available on this site at the following links:

The bride and the groom aren't available in the download. If you haven't noticed yet the Bride and the Groom are a grownup Dustin Broke and Angela Pleasant.


TIPS:

1. Have your Bride and Groom engaged and LIVING TOGETHER before going down to the Plesantville Wedding Chapel for the wedding on this lot. The game automatically wants the Sims to move in together but if you are have the wedding on this community lot, there is nowhere for the Sim (that would move in normally to the residential lot where you would have the wedding) to go. So,they will stay on the chapel lot under the arch where they were married if you don't move them in first. The game won't freeze but that Sim will NOT move from underneath the arch.

2. Make a group of wedding guests before you to the Wedding Chapel, then go on a group outing. Before the wedding, have your Sim invite others there....EVERYONE, including the waiters will switch to formal entire, when the wedding starts...but new vistors to the lot will not switch, (Perhaps someone will come up with a hack for that)

3. Your Sims will be married after going through the ceremony on this lot, (you'll see the special occasion film and everything) BUT they won't get the honeymoon reward as if you threw a wedding party on a residential lot. I'm sure they'll be a hack for this soon anyway...so it's not a big deal if you don't care. PLUS if you get your Sims married without all the throw a wedding party hoopla...you'll get more points for having a great group outing.

Install Instructions

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).

• You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
