NOTICE - These are GLOBAL HACKS: use them carefully. Also, be sure that the lots you upload does not contain any global hack!

19 MAR 2008 - Updated for Seasons/Freetime + Added Modular Synth (FT)
It seems that starting with Season, the game handles differently the effects embedded in animations; this caused the Seasons games (and newer) to crash. Now the hacks for Guitar, Bass and Drums have been updated so to hopefully fix the problem, and a new hack for the Modular Synth (Freetime required) has been added.
Please take note that:
- the special guitar offered as career prize with Seasons uses the same hack as the standard guitar;
- the violin that came with Freetime has no visual effects to remove.

15 FEB 2006 - added the "No Visual Effects" global hack for the KARAOKE MACHINE (Nightlife required: if you don't have NL, the hack will just do nothing )

NOTE - If you are looking for "No Visual Effects" hacks for electronic devices (radio, stereo etc...), look HERE.
--------------------------------------

As per request, here is a Global Hack that prevents the game to show any "visual effects" when the sims practice/perform music on Guitar, Bass and Drum Set.
No more flying notes, no more "blue halo" from the speakers, no more "wave" effects on the strings.

Since the three instruments involved are from the University EP, obviously the University EP is required in order for these hacks to work (they won't hurt if installed in base games or NL-only games: they simply can't be used by the game ).

I've tested all the three hacks in my UNI+NL game; let me know if you notice something weird in your games.

If you are interested in removing the "Musical Visual Effects" from other objects, ask me and I'll try to fulfill the requests (as usual, I don't promise anything! )
