This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Okay, so, I can't be the only one who dresses sims this way... I always try to dress a single sim along a certain "theme" in CAS, but it's always a pain as I never quite have all the right stuff in just the right style spanning all the clothing categories.

I also find when I go to put my sims in clothing, I have a LOT of really funky stuff... latex and chains and velvet and leather, but very little stuff for my more "vanilla" guys. So I've tried to come up with some things that are, erm, a little more, dare I say it... "normal"?

So... here's what I came up with. Two full wardrobes. Each of the two colour schemes includes:
  • Casual: A striped open shirt, rolled to the elbows, with a solid tee shirt underneath, paired with linen-textured jeans, belt, and leather boots.
  • Formal: Fine linen suit with shirt, tie, and striped vest and shiny leather shoes.
  • Swimwear/Underwear: Matching, relaxed-fit striped shorts.
  • Pajamas/Workout: Soft, baggy linen pants, a little lighter than the other linen for a softer, fuzzier, comfier look.
  • Pajamas: Silky, slouchy, baggy striped pants.

All recolours of base game Maxis meshes, no EPs required, fully compatible if you have 'em though. Should work fine for everyone.

Clicky the pictures for bigger versions. I like BIG pics. :D

If anyone likes the idea of this sort of set, doing a whole theme intended to be worn by a particular sim, I'm thinking of doing more (probably for men as they just have so little compared to the ladies), so please, let me know if you build sims like I do and could use more like this.

Oh wow. What a fabulous idea! I tend to dress my sims in colour themes as well, so having entire matching sets is very useful. The colours on these are very well chosen and the texturing looks great.

I would personally like to see some sets for teen boys and children. I recently spent a week finding good clothes for my new game install and out of all ages, teen boys were vastly underrepresented (and were often stuck with those horrid baggy sweatshirts when someone had bothered to make clothes for them at all). Of course, anything you make will be appreciated, you do very high quality work that is worth having in my game.

Praise be! Nice, normal clothes! I can see I'm not alone in wanting to see more like this. Thank you very much-- great work!

I hope that person who nicked your sparkiles (couldn't they even come up with an original subject header? Groan) gets mailbombed with complaints that their uploads don't work in people's games. That would be justice.

You know thats a cool idea...I helped myself the cerulean smoke! I happen to love dark tee's under the open shirt! Very sexy! Thanks so much for all your hard work!

I...will never be a memory.

Not only is this a matching set - it's a matching set for men. I can usually find a variety of red or pink-colored items (as an example) for my female sims, but the men are hard to dress.

Yes, please make more sets like these, the sim guys have very little to change into. Thank you for sharing. Peggy

Please Miss, could we have more of these? I have some very conservative gents and they are very pleased with their new duds

HystericalParoxysm, you have done another outstanding and impressive job with these. The quality of your artistry is just amazing. I usually do not download anything that isn't for the bodybuilders, but these are so good and such an excellent idea of a whole wardrobe, that I break with my convention and downloaded them both and WIL use them. Thank-you for making a hardened Maxis normal hater like me turn his head.

Oh gosh, thank you so much for these clothes. I agree with all the prior comments folks have posted about your great work! I absolutely abhor those baggy, ugly clothes that came with the game. Make more, please!!!! If you don't ,my male Sims will be destined to be either hounded by the fashion police or terminally naked!! LOL

Gorgeous. Very few really good male skins running around. It's nice to see a quality set of clothing for guys.

Yes, Corvus is gob-smackingly mouth-watering...

This is just what I needed! I dress sims the same way. It's just so hard to keep it going throughout the different clothing. This is great!
#42 Old 31st Mar 2007 at 10:44 PM
xD I always dress my sims in themes... (I have an entire neighborhood for victorian and medieval sims, but that's not even where I stop; each sim has a style, and thus has to have exactly the right clothes in exactly the right colors! Or I go insane. But then, I might already be insane.) Not normally all outfits the same color, but sometimes most outfits in the same color, even. xD So yeah. More "normal"-ish clothes is always useful. I don't normally have many male sims, but the few I have need /something/ to wear. xP
Thanks for these! ^^;'

I love this idea!! I always have trouble finding stuff for my guys to wear because almost none of it looks like something a normal guy would wear! Thank you so much and I hope you come out with more soon!

Testing...check...Is this thing on?

Oh yeah, I could DEFINITELY use more like this! I always like to go with a theme for my characters, too, but it is often difficult to find appropriate clothes across the spectrum.
