When this car is a cabriolet... what happens when the sims have car-wohoo? do they disappear?

Black Porsche is the best. I often play also with NeedForSpeed (I have all the NFS editions) and my fav car is the black porsche, it makes me a hero in that virtual world.

I don't know what is happening, but when I bought this car for my sim it was totally bugged; it was permanently attached to the driveway. The sims cannot interact w/it at all. I also could not delete it at all except by deleting the driveway. When I deleted the driveway, I only got the price of the driveway back and not the car at all. Is there anyway of fixing this? I have all ep's except Pets, FFS and GLS. Thanks!
