Perhaps a Residence in the Provence, France.

This is not the first house I made , it is my first house I intended to share on MTS 2.
The idea of building a nice villa for my Sims from an existing houseplan also came from this site, I bumped on that advise while i was reading a few building support threads.

Several years ago I used to go on summer holidays to the south of France and I fell in love with that part of Europe. The smell, the views, the way of living, the food and above all the climate warms my Dutch hart.

Since I downloaded “La Cote” from this site as a neighbourhood area, I am having a summer vacation every day while I am creating beach houses, small country houses, and a Mediterranian shopping centre. Of course i placed quite a lot of the beautiful south European houses and castles which I also found here in the featured section. (beside a Sim addict i became a download addict too). But I have a good excuse, I need to, in order to make my holiday resort as realistic as possible.

This 2 story French villa is made for the wealthy Sims among us, it costs in furnished state as shown on the pictures, 348.557 Simmolians and is built on a 4x5 lot. It is made with base game an EP1-2-3

Floor plan:
Lower floor
Double 4 car Garage with storage
Lower foyer
Relaxation room
Private garden with Spa
Bowling area

First floor
Study with folding door to a balcony
Master bath
Master bedroom with walking closet and folding door to the veranda
Living with a cosy fireplace in the corner and folding doors to the veranda
Kitchen with nook and folding doors to the veranda
Guest suite 1 with bathroom and folding doors to the veranda
Guest suite 2 with bathroom
Utility area with folding door to a balcony

Raised pool area with terrace

I want to thank all the modders and creators who made it possible for me to live my life to the full with decorating and building in the Sims 2.
I took Loverats credit list from this site that came with her wonderful Mother’s Day gift, as an example. I think it is the only right way to give proper credit to where it belongs.
So here it comes.

The original house plan comes from

Since I couldn’t get permission from Simaddict99 due the site policy of TSR, a shopping list in order to show up the following items.
Shopping list:
Climbing plants.

In the beginning I planned to offer this house furnished as well.
But considering that there are a huge amount of downloaded objects and recolors in it and I am not sure if it all can be shared on the net, I decided to leave them all out.

It is up to your own fantasy how to decorate this French daydream.

Hi ambron, you did a fantastic villa, it's a pity that you didn't upload furnished because the beauty of this house is not only in the plan and outside desing, but also in the way you decorated the rooms. but I understand that the size could a problem, however thank you for having detailed the CC list and links.
Good work indeed. Thanks again and ciao.
