Well, the trashcan is very functional indeed. The mailbox, I think it's only decorative because the mailman just passes by it every morning. I tested it only for a couple or so of sim days. However I am presently experiencing some bugs, no NPCs work on my lots presently so maybe it works but I am not aware of it. I'll let you know after I reinstall my game.

I seem to remember from the sims 1, if you deleted the mailbox you wouldn't get any guests. Does this hold true for sims 2 or is it different?

If you delete the mailbox you don't get bills anymore. you get the newspaper, but no bills! :D

What if you use moveobjects on and place the simstone mail box over the original?
That would work wouldn't it?

This mail box does not work on "Bon Vojage" - at sim installed on lot with this mailbox " the mode of a life " was gone

These are really nice, just what I love to find! I'm grateful for stone-themed recolors (since my own perfectionism gets in the way of doing new meshes myself) but shiny new meshes are of course the best thing to find, and these are perfect! Thanks!
