Coffeyville General Store
Created for Tinkerbell2005’s Prairie Project, http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=193764: The Coffeyville General Store -- a 2x4 community lot. Buy a few groceries, maybe some overalls or some Sunday duds. If you decide to run the store yourself, there are plenty of ‘extras’ you can sell -- crates of apples, bottles of stuff, bags of grain, etc. Fully furnished and decorated to give the feel of the late 1800’s. (Or at least, that is what I was trying to do.)
Do NOT upload this lot anywhere.

A special thanks to all of these generous, talented simmers who have allowed their creations to be uploaded in this lot. These creators are among the best the sim world has to offer.
Ailias, http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=16333, is a talented creator of many great sim things. One of the simpliest, his edge smoothers, is also one of the most useful. I love how it gives a nice polished finish to wall top.
Mdhttr323, http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=252682 -- Cookies and other shelf items that you can sell in your own stores or admire in downtown stores. You can find these, and more of her wonderful creations at , Sim Estates 2, http://simestates2.planetthesims.gamespy.com/index.htm.
Crocobaura, http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=65423 has created some marvelous slightly rustic store items -- crates of apples, display stands, bars of green soap, etc.
Tarox, http://www.tarox4sims2.de/ -- Wonderful, unique furniture and other objects. The shuttered windows which give such a nice period feeling to the front of the store are from Tarox, as are some of the furnishings and decorative items.
McTrick’ Place, http://www.mctricksplace.com/[/...go=home.welcome, makers & recolorers of fine furniture and architectural elements.
Lethe_S, http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=50252 has made some of the best elven décor and build items available. Her walls and floors have a nice organic earthiness to them that really helps give things that old timey feel.
KomoSims, http://www.komosims.net/ has made some of my all time favorite terrains. She can make everything from elaborate walls fit for royalty, to the simple paneling featured in this lot.
Retail Sims, http://www.retailsims.com/, an unbelievable array of consumer goods for your sims. Once I discovered Retail Sims, making stores became a joy rather than a chore. We know the creator behind Retail Sims as Hchangeri, http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=94965.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
