This is my dog Rupert. He is a rare breed (as of this writing) called a Leonberger.

Legend has it that the Mayor of Leonberg, Germany was a giant dog breed fancier so he set out to create a Giant breed of dog that looked like a Lion. He used a Landseer Newfoundland and a St. Bernard and a Great Pyrenees. The result: a fabulous laid-back couch potato and the most wonderful dog you could ever ask for... the only drawback is they are very hairy, shed like there is no tomorrow and LOVE to play in mud. I wouldn't trade mine for anything tho. They are worth it to me (I have two... they are kinda like Lays Potatoe Chips... you can never have just one).

so without further ado I present to you Rupert the Leonberger Extraordinaire.

*note he is much redder to strawberry blonde now as he matured since those photos. Also, I could not figure out how to get the outline of his ears in black (I'll have to work on that). Another thing I've noticed is that using the Chow body works best (for me anyway) when making these giant hairy breeds and in real life Leonbergers a wee bit taller than they allow in the game.

In any case, if you download him I do hope you enjoy him. Please don't upload anywhere else and if you can get the outline of his ears black I will worship you from afar.
