The Cardigan Welsh Corgi can be distinquished from the more popular Pembroke Welsh Corgi by its long fox-like brush tail. It originated in Great Britain in 1200 BC and was used to herd cattle, being small enough to easily nip the cattles' legs. The Cardigan has a more varied colour range than the Pembroke.
