Just wondering, do these replace the game's default paintings or do they just show up as extra ones?

Why is it written "May contain traces of peanuts or other kind of nuts" on peanut butter jars. Are people stupid enough not to realize it themselves?

Fantastic!

There are many myths about planes. Not many people know them. My favorite one is the propellor one: The propellor is on the front of the plane, it cools the pilot, because when it turn off, the pilot starts sweating.

Cool, thanks. Now I know where to put some of the picutres I have. This is lots easier then making your paint a still life, then go to the snapshot file and rename it so they paint your picture.

the folder 'paintings' won't be placed in folder 'the sims 2' then? (and not even in Downloads folder!?)
"Get the images and put in C:\MyDocuments\EAGames\Paintings " ?? really?

These are nice, but you forgot to mention one thing: The option to "Paint Custom Painting" requires the Pets EP. Installing Pets automatically creates the \Paintings folder.

So your pictures also require Pets in order to use them in the game.

Thanks for the new paintings. I've gotten rather tired of the old ones.

It's not a good excuse, but I wasn't paying attention and I just queued it up to download anyway. My game won't start now, and I'm really hoping it's because of this. Does anyone know how I might remove the files??

I checked my downloads folder, and I couldn't find any of the files. I searched my whole computer, and I got three results. Two of the results were in my temporary internet files (from when I downloaded it initially). The other result is in the Q-Express Installer downloads folder. I haven't done anything with any of them because they're all still zipped!

If I figure it out on my own, I'll repost, but if anyone has any advice, let me know please!

UPDATE
I managed to find and delete the files, though it did take quite a while. However, the game STILL doesn't start. I'll, most likely, be un/re-installing for the second time in the last two weeks. Sorry I ate up space for this here! Thanks!

If anyone else is still interested: these are NOT default replacements. They are available IF you have at least Pets (or more? this link may help ----- http://www.modthesims.info/download...25#startcomment ) AND if the person has some level (?) of creativity. THEN THEY CAN PICK "PAINT CUSTOM", and these will be available.
PUT them not in Downloads, but in Documents/EA/Sims2/ paintings
