Hi Fizz these doors are great!

My girlfriend downloaded these doors and they seem to be replacing maxis' door.
Maxis' door is no longer in my girlfriends game, when she uses the eyedropper in a house that has/had maxis' door it goes to yours, Its the only one there...

Here is a picture to show what I mean


This problem also seems to be happening with a few objects, such as a your trash compactor and your rug.... and a few things my girlfriend cannot think of.

My girlfriend loves these too, and would like them and maxis'.

I'm the gf Rich mentions..

and that's the point..there is no Maxis door to the right or left of your doors, it seems that yours IS overwriting the originals..several of your objects do this.
The cheap door is doing the same.

Please check your package..because I don't think this is so much a case of overwriting as you might have sent your original door..which obviously is in Spanish..and THAT is what's overwriting my doors & other objects. All my original re-colors of these doors AND yours are now under the door in the screen shot above.

If you meant to make this it's own object with your door, you need to change it's GUID.

Your work is beautiful, and it adds to my houses as well. I use your objects & doors all the time.....and I know they're yours because the headings & descriptions are all in Spanish ....

You can see in the photo, that although it leaves my door like main selection, but it is possible too to choose so many my doors as those of others and the original ones of MAxis.

I have near 200.000 unloadings in MTS and some more in the Web where I am and until NOW ANYBODY have commented to me that has that problem.

Perhaps therefore the problem is yours, but not of my objects.

I understand what you're saying..but you're not understanding what I'm saying.

It's not that your door is now the current selection. I have hundreds of items that have picked up the latest download of re-colors I put in as the 'main' choice.

What I'm saying is, the door should not be switching over into the Spanish description. My game can't just decide on it's own to change languages. It's coming from your door, and other objects of yours. My game is American English. That's all it knows.

I have over 46000 downloads in my game, many of those, re-colors, the only re-colors of any Maxis objects that changed into another language, are yours.

I have recolors from France, Germany, Italy, from direct sites, not just here. The sites are in their respective languages. But all my object descriptions, stay English.

Only yours, has translated my objects descriptions, into Spanish. Everything, else is still English.

If know one else has complained, it could possibly be because they had downloaded other re-colors to the same objects, that switched their game back to their respective language.

This is not coming from my game. It is beyond the games capability to change languages. Maxis did not allow that.

I'm not trying to blame you for doing anything to my game. It's really nothing. I'm learning Spanish now. The doors work as they should, nothing in my game is broken. I just wanted my English descriptions back.

I just wanted you to know, that it happened so you could take a look into your files & see what might be causing this.

Did you send your actual cloned door/objects with your files? If you did, that could be causing this problem. Your door/objects GUID would be exactly the same as mine, and would therefore overwrite my file.

Please don't misunderstand. I was just letting you know I had this issue.
Why just me, I don't know. But you can clearly see from my screen shot, that it did happen. I was just trying to find out why.
