I have posted an animated version here:
http://www.modthesims2.com/creator/...ad.php?t=258658
Are you tired of your sims leaving the babies on the floor all the time? Then this swing is the ticket for you.
This swing was requested by CarolynBetty and I though it was a wonderful idea. It doesn't actually swing..I'm so happy to get it to actually work for infants that I decided to share it now. I wanted to have it increase their fun but could only get that to work for toddlers and sims would no longer place infants in the swing with it coded to increase fun. If I figure out how to add the swing motion and increase fun I will update it and if I find that enough people are interested in it.
The animation placing the infant in and taking them out are strange but once the infant is seated it works great. I disable giving a bottle while in the swing as my sims were constantly getting bottles.
The pie menu will show all household member for placing in chair but only toddlers and infants can actually be placed in it.
The baby swing was one item I could not have gone without when my kids were infants. So why should the sims go without one?
Is anyone interested in a highchair for infants? I actually started out getting the highchair to work first than created the swing mesh. Or is this to unrealistic?
If you have any problems please be sure to let me know. Please don't forget to click the thanks button if you like this item. I really love to hear your thought and opinions too.
You can find this item under General/Child for $50.
Does't she look happy!
This items does not always work with infants, it seems there is some sorta random things that allows it to work one time but not the next. For infants only...I have not had any problems using it for toddlers.
I have the anti-social worker hack installed and that did not cause me any problems, the one I use is by Inge Jones found here: http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...ims2patches.htm
Polygon Counts:
Baby Swing faces 1337
Additional Credits:
Credits to: All that help make this possible. SimPE creators, CEP creators, MTS2 for this site, and Stephen Cox creator of UVMapper.
Some of my favorites tutorial writers are Echo, JWoods, HystericalParoxysm, Numenor, and Addius sp? great extensive tutorials.
Thanks to all that take the time to click the thanks button and leave comments.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

Beck's Policy
Not finding something you know I created? Please check www.affinitysims.com, I am working to have all of my creations posted on that site. I do not want to waste space at MTS2 for items that do not have star quality.
I personally don't agree with personal policies and would very much like to see all policies be controlled by the board that items are posted on. It would make life so much easier for everyone. It would also eliminate the selfish/self center creators that have done so much harm to this caring and sharing community. Not one creator that I know of is able to do these things without the help of Maxis, Simpe, SimPE plugins, CEP and all the great tutorials available.
Just in case someone wants to know my feelings on it...it is as follows:
You may use my creations freely. The only request I have is that you do not claim them as your own and PLEASE do not post on pay sites.
You may include them with you lot creations if you so desire. :)
All items are created with Maxis code, and SimPE according to the terms of use Maxis owns all rights to this code.
Most of my meshes come from remeshing maxis items or can be found in the 3d mesh of unknown authors. If you wish to remesh any of my meshes you are free to do so. You may also include them with your recolors.
I do this strickly for fun. If you find anything wrong with my creations please let me know and I'll fix them if I capable of doing so or will at least post the problems found. I don't want to post junk!
