I actually have been playing this lot a bit lately and once my couple moved in, they saved up some money for some orchard trees, a small lake and eventually a short driveway with an uncovered wagon. The house saw some big interior changes as they had children and they grew up. first they just used partitions to section off a kid's bedroom from their own, but after growing past the 2 kids they had planned, saved up enough money for real walls so the 2nd floor contained a nursery, a kids room (bunk beds), a second bathroom and the parent's own room, as well as a hallway, usually filled with toddler toys. they also dug out a cellar underneath the house to put a flower station and baby furniture when not in use. I've had a lot of fun with this starter because I could really watch the family grow and change over what is now three generations. Much happened to them and it looked as if I were watching a real little praire family deal with the trials and tribulations of life alone on the frontier.
