Magnificent work! I think, your islands will shelter resorts which I plan to construct in Bon Voyage. Many thanks!

I tried these out ingame, and they're beautiful! Thank you However, when you zoom out, the land disappears like it's been flooded. It doesn't affect the buildings--I have several basements built into the houses on these islands--but it is rather annoying. Is there anyway you could fix that?

Hi! First of all, I'm so happy you all like them :3

@Chocolate Aspiration - thank you for telling me! Does this problem occur while you're on a lot or in the neighborhood screen? Does the whole NH look like flooded or just the area next to the water? Are you using the camera mod? It's the only thing I can think of which might cause the problem, since I'm using these NHs myself and everything is fine, but I don't have the cam-mod, so I couldn't test it if it works properly with it. I've seen this happen once when I built a lot into the water and the lowest part of it was just one click higher than the water and looked like flooded when I zoomed out, so I figure the strand might be too low... Does it also happen in the "Bluewater" (original) NH? This one has a very low strand too (I believe it's even lower). Sorry, I don't really know how I could fix it, except for raising the strand to the same height as the rest of the islands, which, I think, wouldn't look very good... but I'm going to get the cam-mod to see if it's got anything to do with the problem, and if so, or if I can figure what else causes it, I'll at least add a note in the 1st post if I can't find a better solution! I hope this is OK for you!?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I hope I didn't sound like I was complaining - it isn't a big thing, just a small nuisence. It only appears on the neighborhood screen (<- click for picture of it), and doesn't appear on lots (also, when I'm zoomed in there's no problem). I don't play Bluewater--I prefer custom island templates--but if you need me to I could create a test hood to check. I don't have the camera mod (I still haven't figured out exactly what it does, and I don't download any hacks until I'm absolutely positively 500% clear on what the mod does and that it won't screw up my game), so I doubt that's the problem. Thank you for these beautiful templates--they fit just perfectly with the beach/island/tropical theme of my neighborhood

edit: why the hey did I not realize until now that it has been a problem with other custom neighborhoods, and isn't specific to yours? Sometimes I think I have blonde roots or something Sorry to not realize that till now and hope this helps, even in a tiny way

Hi! No, not at all - I'm happy you told me, I don't want to share anything with issues or leave issues unmentioned, if I can't fix them
But I'm sorry, I have been investigating on it and still haven't found out why you have this problem... it does not seem to occur due to anything I came up with, it's not the hack, then I thought maybe if you don't have the addon(s) that introduced the dirt and concrete terrain, you might have to remove the corresponding .png files, but since you have all of them, that cannot be the problem too. I asked my friend to try them, her PC is older and has lower performance than mine, I thought that may be a reason, but it works fine too.
If you're using other islands too which have low strands and have no problem with them, I think it cannot be a general problem, so I don't think you need to create a Bluewater-NH ^^... I really don't know what else I could think of, I'm really sorry -.-° But I'm going to edit the first post - is it OK for you if I use that one "flooded" picture you added, so that I can show the issue? Once again, sorry... and thank you! ^^

Not a problem! Thanks for looking into it, and anyone who can figure SC4 out enough to make a TS2 hood from it gets definite praise from me - I've never been able to figure the darn thing out! :-/

Really nice, thanks! Any chance of you explaining about how to place a bridge? Been fiddling for an hour with it and I can't figure it out

@Chocolate - you're funny ^^ but if you're having this problem with other custom terrains too, it might eventually be related to your video card or settings? Just a thought though... ^^

@Soneen - glad you like it ^^ placing the bridge is a bit tricky, since it's actually 2 bridges, but it's not too difficult : pick one from the NH decorations bar in Sims 2 and drag it to your NH, so that the "steady" end of it is at the end of the street. Now when you click the left mouse button and keep it down, you can rotate it, I found out that it works better the more distance you have between the object and the cursor. Make the other end of the bridge point towards the street on the other side of the lagoon. Then pick the 2nd bridge from the NH decorations bar and do the same on the other side, until the two bridges are connected somewhere in the middle of the lagoon. It will probably not look very good by now, because they're just roughly placed, but you'll just have to play around a bit until it looks perfect (just click on them again and adjust them precisely)

Well, I think I did it! After a few hours it resembles a bridge So far no Sim has driven over it, but that's alright Thank you so much for helping me out!

hey! i looked at these a few months agao and i was trying to find them these past few days. i think they're wonderful. also, about the neighborhood flooding, it happens to me in pleasantview as well. i have vista, 1gb of ram and a good (integrated) graphics card. the pc is brand new, having just bought it this past weekend. The flooding is not really a problem for me, it's just purely cosmetic, although it kind of freaked me out the first time i saw it. sorry for the long post though. once again, your neighborhoods are beutiful and i'll enjoy using them.
