Thank you for the wonderful encouragement! This one was hard work over the past few weeks, off and on, but I'm glad it is being well received. Gold just doesn't look right if it isn't glistening!

Wow, thank you for your exuberance! But I hope you aren't getting too frustrated with using them in-game...

I am finding that it can be a bit challenging to light these mirrors up just right. Senesi2003's tiny ceiling light really is helpful for this, and with move_objects on you can double it up with another light or with itself if you need to. But it is also easy to overdo the illumination of the lighter colours, completely washing out the mirror, and then it looks really - dumb!

Rebecah's invisible window is also very handy for throwing some extra daylight on the subject, when a visible window would just look odd.

When these mirrors are lit correctly there will be a gradual increase in brightness as you move off axis that I find quite beautiful, but it can be pretty fiddly setting them up - and I also wonder if for some colours it may be impossible to do in a small room.

A note about the match with the Fat City stainless counter. Although I provided two options I am not happy with either of them as far as matching goes. Likely I will make an alternative that goes with the rear panel of the counter and include that in a future metallic set. Oh whoops! I didn't mean matching a mirror with the back of the Fat City counter that is against the wall(!) but with the small splash panel at the back of the working surface. That seems to be where the eye goes to.

These metallic mirrors have been upgraded to support the discernment features introduced in the Honest to Dickens Mirror project.

Default Alien & AL Upgrade: June 25, 2014
1) The discernment mirrors are now capable of designating any Sim as a Quarter, Half, Three-Quarter or Full Alien - or removing alien status - using the new "Change Alien Status" menu option.

2) Mirror discernment now includes the Apartment Life human statues, spectral assistants, spectral cats, warlocks and witches (including alignment), as well as the Holiday Edition Father Time, Santa Klaus, and Toddler New Year.

3) The new "Find Sim..." and "Find Pet..." menu options can be used to locate any character on the lot without waiting for the current interaction to finish.

4) For more positive identification, the Sim selection menus now include the whole name rather only the first name. Similarily, the "Check Sim" or "Check Pet" descriptions also provide the full name.

5) If Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden is available, the mirrors are now height adjustable.

6) Numerous minor optimizations have been made.

Default Added Spirit Discernment - July 1, 2014
The discernment mirrors now differentiate between a true Ghost (a dead Sim) and a Spirit (a live Sim with ghostly characteristics).
