Jungle Rebel Camp

lot size: 5x6
price: $103,480
furnished: yes - Maxis only
tested: yes - briefly, I just had a couple sims run around and make sure they had access to everywhere.

This lot is for your revolutionaries and political dissidents. When your sims get PO'ed with the Sim City government and storm off into the jungle to affect change, this is where they end up!

An overview of the whole camp. Sorry everything is so small, it's a big lot and I had to pull back quite a bit to fit the whole thing into one shot! Because the buildings are small and there aren't a lot of walls, this is a large lot that actually didn't slow my game down too much.

From above, this shows the interior layouts of various buildings. After some cursing and fretting I just accepted the fact that I wasn't going to fit the whole thing into one shot from above so I broke it up. Upper Left is the bunks, the latrines, and the showers. Upper Right is the cooking area, mess hall, and kitchen garden/orchard. Lower Left is the watchtower, fishing pond, and graveyard for fallen comrades. Lower Right is the ancient ruins.

Left is the watchtower - keep someone on sentry duty at all times! (Or not. Whatever. Who's going to storm the gates, Goopy?)

Upper Right is the headquarters - this is where the revolutionaries plan, make demands, keep in touch with the outside world (weapons dealers, etc) and nuke ramen.

Lower Right is the view from the Leader's room in the bunkhouse. There are only 7 beds because someone should be on sentry duty... or stealing a nap in the hammock.

Upper is a view of inside the ruins, including the campfire and the hammock. Hey, even freedom fighters need to relax occasionally, some of them by roasting marshmallows and some of them by rendezvousing in the hammock with an attractive comrade.

Bottom is the mess hall, kitchen, and the kitchen gardens in the background. When you're trying to stage a coup, you can't really just stroll into a grocery store... so, it's important to have a garden/orchard and a fishing pond.
