Making Maxis usable, wooo!

Why wouldn't it look right with Maxis recolors? Can't the sleeve UV mapping be made so that they match the shoulder color, no matter what recolor is used? (I haven't checked, so don't know.)

The Maxis textures are made to look like a thin sweater is underneath a tshirt type top.

The sleeve UV map would have had to have been bunched right up to gather the texture from the short sleeve, I never altered the uv, apart from the end of the sleeve, beginning of the hand, where the cc textures bled through. I didn't want to alter those textures, as they aren't mine.

Personal choice really, some may like the Maxis textures with this mesh.

Thanks! I remember thinking when hrekkjavaka astarkort first made these fantastic outfits that they would look even better if the mesh had sleeves.

Don't mean to be bothersome but I'm totally confused as which files I have to download to achieve my desired result; getting your mesh as defaults with the original recolours. Pls help?

The mesh was specifically made to compliment the recolours that hrekkjavaka astarkort made. And the default recolours that SunnyMonster was kind enough to upload.

The default mesh replaces the Maxis mesh, so if you only download that one, you will get Maxis textures, on my default mesh.

The second paragraph under the picture explains which file to download.

Please only download one or the other, if you want to still have the original Maxis style, as well as mine, then download the CC version, it contains a mesh and a recolour and will show up with the CC star.

If you wish to replace the Maxis mesh, then download the DEFAULT mesh, which as stated I recommend using SunnyMonsters' default textures to go with it.

This is really great! I never really noticed how cold they looked, but now that you point it out, I'm not sure if I could go back to seeing them shivering in the cold. If you're not completely sick and tired of this mesh, would you mind altering it so that the line between the shirt and the belt is gone so that there's no defined place where the shirt starts? I still love the snowboarding type textures, but they would be much better with a longer shirt. Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. When I get round to doing that, I will tag it along with this upload. May be adviseable to subscribe to this or add to favourites, or your favoured method of finding it again.

I can't promise it will be tomorrow, though. It's on my to-do list.

Yay! Sleeves! I loved the original recolours for this Maxis mesh but I noticed there weren't long sleeves for it. Nicely done.

More textures would be great ^^
