I think it looks quite nice. Would love more wood shades, if you feel so inclined. And if you do, you might try the repository technique, so this desk pulls textures from another desk that has lots of colors already, or a dining table maybe? Just a thought, I know it would be non-trivial to do.

Hmm. I'll have to try and hunt down a guide for what you're talking about. The repository technique is unfamiliar to me.
I would love to add more shades to this, and I will. This was actually my FIRST upload, it just came later because it needed changes after I submitted it.

Oh thanks! I never use that desk because it's so ugly, now I will use it! Great work!

coltraz I'm not sure actually if repository texturing can be done with a Maxis mesh, or only a new mesh, because you'd have to change the UV mapping. But if you want to look into it, the repository technique tutorial is here and further discussion is here. A much simpler way to do wood textures from Maxis tables would be just take the table texture, and cut and paste bits of it onto the desk texture. However, if you do the simpler way, you have to do it for every texture you want the desk to have. With repository, you do it just once, and you get every single existing texture, and also any new textures that will be made in the future. Anyhoo, thanks again for making these.

Thanks!! I loved the shape of this desk but hated the colors/textures. These are much more useful!!

Finally! you are the best. I've always wanted to use these desks but couldn't bring myself to due to the awk pattern. THANK YOU(:
