I really like this camera, but I also have the problem with it getting stuck far away when I switch to the default Downtown. I can zoom in very close to the rivers, but nothing I do (keyboard, dragging the mouse scroll wheel around, whatever) gets me close to the buildings/houses/etc.

i have the same problem as well. i cant zoom in downtown by scrolling with the mouse and anything else.

While this camera mod works great for most of my neighborhoods and subs, I too have a problem with one neighborhood where it gets stuck far away. It will neither zoom in or out. Looks like I will have to revert to the maxis camera whenever I want to use that particular neighborhood. Still it is very useful. Thanks a lot.

Wow, this replacement neighborhood camera is awesome! I can view everything--and despite a few hiccups here and there; seeing a "jump" or quick zoom out and back in whenever I move the camera while at a certain distance, it still works great otherwise. I even got to see an off-shore island with a Tiki stone-head in the middle of it (I think it was in Pleasantview), where before using this camera I had no idea it was there. So cool! Thank you! :D

Update Noticed when I went into one of my neighborhoods' Downtown area, the camera was fixed. It wouldn't zoom in or out, no matter if I tried to scroll with my mouse or manually push the zoom buttons (the ones with "+" and "-" signs.) I guess sub-neighborhoods are affected negatively by this replacement NeighborhoodCamera. Oh well. No biggie.

So just an FYI for other people who are thinking about getting this.
Pro: great FOV (field of view) camera in main neighborhoods;
Con: fixed, full view camera in sub-hoods. (Makes it look like you're playing SimCity 4 or The Sims.)

Hi when I try to install the zip folder it tells me theres no files to ibnstall I'm using the clean pack installer any help would be great as its so hard to see the hole hood to dec. it.

worked for awhile, just like all the other camera mods, but after about 5 minutes of placing lots and trying to place another lot, it crashed my game straight to desktop. no errors.
Running Ultimate Collection, so. yay me. I guess I'm out of ideas and out of luck. :/
