So what's with the title? Well, I thought to myself, there are all these older meshes that I keep in my game because I like the mesh itself...but the textures were lacking. Everyone seems to flock to redoing the new hairs, so I had to do these myself!

This is a completely handpainted retexture of this free bun mesh (2488) at Peggy Sims. I also modified the alphas a little bit to be chunkier, and less wispy, to go with the more "cartoonish" look I get with the handpainting.

I dressed my models in an assortment of clothes to show that I believe these textures can be used with various styles of CC, from Maxis-match, to more realistic styles.

This mesh is for all ages, and the hairs are binned in the correct bins. The naturals share one family and the same gray, which is part of the black hair package. They also all have the same headband.


Neons are fun! These are also for all ages, but in this case, the elders also have neon hair. They'll all be in the custom bin. Since the colors are so bright, I made sure each color had a complimentary color scheme on its headband.
