In making a loverly Sim a few nights ago, I notices how horrifyingly awkward Maxis' ears made my painstaking work on the face. They don't look remotely like ears. Gah!
So I drew some of my own.
Ideally, these would be one size fits all for skin tones; I was able to make bring it down to just two colors. One looks good on most pale skins, and the other looks good on most dark skins.
I discovered they work with most of HystericalParadoxysm's beautiful Idolatry of the Flesh Skin Tones (pictured). Which happen to be my favorite sim skins. That was really pleasing.
They probably will look strange on non-human Sims. Though, Vampire skin layers over them, like it does with every other kind of make-up.
Tested with pointy elf ears. (pictured) The distortion looks natural... or as natural as pointy elf ears would be.
These are masks.
They layer under all other make-up, and are multi-wearable with other masks (options for piercings much?). Huzzah for that! Thank you, HystericalParadoxysm.
I'm down with most modding, just ask first, please!
HystericalParadoxysm- for the gorgeous skin and tutorial.
