This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
This download is part of the Stuff for Kids Creator Challenge
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Here is a complete nursery for the little sailors. I did this set because my Sims have always a favorite color. Or better say my sims and rooms always have a special color, as it's easier for me to see who goes where. In this case, it's obiously the blue color.

I offer this room in the current challenge of Kid's stuff. I've always wanted to enter something for one of these challenges, but never did, due to a lack of inspiration (and skill). But I had this set in store for some time now, and it was the perfect occasion to kick me in the ass in order to complete and propose it.

Whenever possible, all of the recolorations come in separate packages. For example, the striped crib with blue frame come in two different packages, one for the frame and one for the bedding.

The recolorations in this set are from the basegame, except for three of them :
- The four marine pictures, from NL
- The striped curtains with no boat from SSN
- Decorative bear OFB

I've also used some of echo rug meshes for the rugs. Please download the meshes with the link at the end of this post if you don't have them yet :
- echo-3x4-floorrug
- wind_echorug2x3
- Numenor-(Echo)_2x1BedsideMat

And CEP is also needed for some of the recolors.

On the path to the (not-so) perfect combination of patterns and colors, I've made some alternate colors for some furniture and a bunch of different walls and floor. See below :

I've included them in separate files, so that you can download them or not.

One more time, I'd like to thank MTS2 for all the great guides and advices that helped me to make all this stuff.

I hope it won't be too much blue for you, and that you'll like this set.

I love this set, it's soo cute!! <3 But didn't the Stuff for Kids challenge finish on the 31st of January?? I thought I saw a notice about it.

This is one of the better recolors I have seen of the Maxis nursery, you used pieces i would have never expected. Thanks!

Jealousy would be far less torturous if we understood that love is a passion entirely unrelated to our merits.

As a matter of fact the 31st of january was the deadline for the submission and I sent it the 30th. But it took a few days before the set was sent online.

And I want to thank you all for your kind comments. I'm really happy that some of you find this set beautiful...
