Hi. I too would like to report a problem with the custom made desk included in the package file. For some reason, the xaab desk file crashed my basegame desk file of the tibetan desk and I could no longer access it through buy mode. [I tried cloning it w/ the dropper tool but everytime I did that, the custom desk would appear in its place!] It was only when I deleted the custom desk file that the tibetan desk re-appeared in my game. But other than this disturbing glitch, playing the lot is a feast for the eyes! Über gorgeous!

Thank you.
Hmm, okay. I think that's enough for removing the desk. I'll remove it from the package and link to the post for those who want to download it separately.
The version in this post should be stable and not replace any Maxis object.

Thank you for this beautiful and original house! I'm sure it will stand out once placed in my neighbourhood. Yet your honesty to say it is "inspired by Asian lifestyle" instead of call it Asian is greatly appreciated. [I have found so-called Asian houses with stained-glass windows and Romanesque columns that gave me the creeps.]

Thanks!
That was exactly the reason why I didn't call it 'Asian' explicitely, I just don't know enough about such complex traditions and cultures to be able to build/create according to them. Just as you mentioned, there is a bunch of 'Asian' items to be found in the community and some of them really don't do justice to this title.
It's the same thing with my 'Naruyama' uploads, I admire the culture of Japan and other Asian nations too much to claim something being part of them when it's not the case.

One of the best things I have ever downloaded, thank you! ^^

But I find myself puzzled by the... "wall-like" surround for the roof garden.... It's not a buy mode item, but I haven't been able to find it in build mode, either. I thought it might be a foundation, but foundations have to be placed on terrain. What exactly is it, and how may I use it?

Thanks again!

Hi Aisuichi and thank you,
it is indeed a foundation, the indoor foundation that was introduced with some of the earlier EPs. I'm not sure which one it was but it can be placed indoors.

This has WAY more CC than I usually allow in my downloaded lots, but I already have some of it, and the house is too beautiful to pass up. ::nab::

Hmm, yes, I've found it now. For some reason, the thumbnail for it is the same as the pool, though, which is weird. o.o Thank you, this will greatly add to my options with my own building! ^^

A++ XD

I admire Japanese architecture and gardens, but I've found such content hard to find for my sims - well, by abundantly talented artists, anyway. This is absolutely perfect for my new Japanese neighborhood. Thank you!
