You might have to suspend your disbelief a little bit for this one. XD. The Recessed Residence seems like your average 1x1 lot...

...except for the underground lake and observation mezzanine.

This one took me a couple of tries, to say the least. It's easy enough to add an underground pond, but I rather obsessively wanted a bridge across it. The game frowns on multiple levels of foundations, which is why it treats the bridge and the observation thinger as one single level. I think. >_>. I threatened the game with my French dictionary, so it might just be annoyed with me at the moment.

Side note: I didn't fit in a front door, or any door at all until the second level. This means that visitors traipse through your house uninvited: good when you invite people over, bad when the welcome wagon sneaks into your kitchen for kicks. It's a definite party house.
Oh, and I had to depreciate the house twice to get it below 20k. Too many walls. >_<.
