3 different Medieval magazine racks featuring actual Medieval Manuscripts. The illustrations all come from a Book of Hours, or daily devotional, known as Les Tres Riche Heures de Duc du Berry. The art was created by the famous Limbourg Brothers and others, and is some of the most beautiful medieval artwork still in existance.
Books of Hours were quite popular in the Middle Ages, and it was common for not only noblemen, but also merchants to own such lovely books. It is not unreasonable that your medieval Sims should want to purchase a Book of their own. (Note: Sim will still buy the default magazines, as usual.)
