It looks amazing. Wonderful job! I'll be adding this to my town for sure!

The chairs, the tables, all confused
We hear the words and must speak them
We take them, and arrange them
But still... they will not be quiet...

Default Placing the house

Also, I recommend placing the lot on a 40 x 30 space. It doesn't work so well on a 40 x 40 (or a 30 x 40).

As far as I know, all you have to do is save it to your computer, somewhere you can find it. Unzip it and double-click on the Perfidia2.Sims3Pack file. It will open your Sims 3 launcher and install the house. Hope that works.

I got it all installed but I dont know how you use it. How do I put it down in my game and make it the house I live in?

You'll have to make sure your family has enough money to buy the house before you move them. So while you're controlling them, you might want to do CTRL+Shift+C and type 'motherlode'. Do it twice if your family is relatively young and doesn't have much money. Make sure you save your game at this point. Also, if there is anything you want them to take with them when they move, place it in their backpacks or the "family inventory" (I think that's in buy mode, but I'm not sure!).

Click on the three dots in the bottom left corner of the interface and select "Edit Town". Look around at the empty lots and find one that is 40 x 30. Make a note of it so you know where to plop the house. Then click on the house library (where the Sim bin is; click on the house tab) and select the house. Click on "Place" and plop it in the spot you scouted out before.

To get your active household moved in, click on their current house in "Edit Town" mode and select the "Evict" button. You want to evict them but not with their house, so make sure you select the "family only" option. Then you should be able to click on the new house and select "Purchase".

I'm writing this all down from memory so I might have some of the verbiage wrong, but I hope it helps!

Thank you!
Thank you sooo much for the house! It is absolutly lovely! It will be definitly used in my game! I DO have ONE question though. How can you get the roofing to actually show up instead of just the walls of the roofing? Thanks! I give you TWO thumbs up! 1000000000/10

Hi famous, do you have the roof problem with other houses as well? I know other people have had this issue in their game (not just with my house -- with all houses). It sounds like it's either a game bug or a graphics issue. I was able to find a couple of threads on the Sims 3 forum about it, but as far as I can tell there is no resolution yet. The forum support says its a graphics card issue and that people with the problem should update their graphics cards. But several people in the thread say they don't think its related to their graphics cards. So I'm not sure what to tell you. Here are the threads in case you want to post/follow them:

OK OK I was having the hardest time trying to find the perfect house for a 40 X 40 lot and here it is. I had moved the family on the hill in River-blossom because I wanted that view for my Sim, but I could not find a lot too fit and I am not a great builder. Thank You so much it is gorgeous.

What you caught a 25 pound BluGill ! Here come the fish stories.......
