Updated: 15th Jun 2009 at 7:55 PM - Help Wanted :D
(June 15, 2009) - I'd like to solicit some help! Is anyone really skilled at making clothing? I'd like to get some custom uniforms made for a new career I'm making. PM me if you can help!

(June 15, 2009) - Added a "reversed" version of this career path. It's the same jobs, only the gender roles are reversed (with the exception of the first level). So for those of you who want a Pizza Delivery Girl and--although I can't see why--a Pool Girl, then this will unlock those options.

All I did was swap job titles and chance cards over, changing pronouns where needed. So the job descriptions are pretty much identical to their opposite gender counter-part.

The "reversed" career has it's own GUID so you can have both in the game. But wait?! How will I tell the difference?! Well...I thought long and hard about how to make them distinguishable while still keep some aesthetic properties...so in the end I simply added a dash. So 'Odd Jobs' is the original career and 'Odd-Jobs' is the reversed one (crafty aren't I?)

-Yaaawnn- Guess who's back again?

I did some more digging and came across another old project. This shall be my final career upload for now...

Anyways, it's an Odd Jobs career path. It's basically a compilation of random jobs that I couldn't expand into their own separate careers. This career is designed with teen sims in mind, but if you really want to, your elder sims could take on this career as well. I just think it'd be mighty strange to have a 60 year old pool boy...just saying...

Once again like always, the pay is relatively low compared to other maxis teen/elder careers...but that's how I like it, so deal! (just kiddin' :D) Each gender has it's own set of career levels and chance cards, with the the exception of the first level.

Dog Walker
Hours: 15:00 – 16:00
Days: T W Thur F Sat
Wage: $50
You’ve been eyeing that mp3 player for weeks now, putting on the puppy dog eyes whenever you ask mom and dad for it. And, although you’ve mopped every floor and washed every dish the ‘rents still say “maybe for Christmas”. Christmas? Who can wait that long?! You want it now, right? So why not walk a dog or two for a little extra cash. Who knows, maybe word will spread fast and more job ops will open up.

Pool Boy – Male
Hours: 15:00 – 17:00
Days: M W Thur
Wage: $95
No more poop scooping for you! Now you’ll be skimming leaves out of pools while inadvertently becoming the fantasy of all the housewives in the neighborhood. Although it might be a bit creepy having women in their 40s peeping at you out their kitchen windows, if you keep up the good work, you’ll never know what you’ll be doing next.

Tutor – Female
Jimmy Jockstrap is failing chemistry, majorly! If Jimmy flunks chem he’ll be benched indefinitely! As a last resort he turns to you for help. And best of all, he’ll pay! Can you help Jimmy pass chemistry?

Pizza Delivery Boy – Male
Hours: 15:00 – 21:00
Days: M T W Thu Sat
Wage: $155
Now that you're delivering pizza, you're out of the ever watchful eyes of desperate housewives. The only thing you have to worry about now is getting to the customer's house 30 minutes or less!

Babysitter – Female
The last thing on your mind was babysitting! You detest kids in the worst way, and you'd rather die than have to spend your night watching them! But why did you take the job? Why the money of course! Your check from the Johnsons is pretty sweet! So what if you have to run behind little brats, look at how much money you make in the end.

There are no uniforms this go round. I figured since it's just odd jobs, the sims can just go as is.

This career has it's own GUID and shouldn't overwrite any other career. Like always, if there's anything I missed whether it be spelling, grammar, or a programing error let me know and I'll try to get it fixed.
