Looking for that new-fangled modern house with brilliantly contemporary furniture and architecture? Well you won't find it here! Over a hundred years' worth of happy families have shown that the Queenslander does the job and won't leave you out of pocket. 3 br, 1 bth, 1 lounge, front and back verandas; there's even a vege patch round the back for the missus!

The 'Queenslander' is a colonial style of house typical to the state of Queensland in Australia. This particular house is one you might find in the lower-middle class suburbs of Brisbane. Before I get slaughtered for crimes against furniture style, I was going for the 'we just moved in with a whole lot of furniture that doesn't really suit the style of house we just bought' kind of look. Nothing like realism! This house is suited to a family of four including: a paranoid financial advisor, a homemaker with a green thumb, a sloppy 11-year-old boy with asthma, and an angsty teenage girl with a crush on Edward Cullen.
