Great idea! Looks much better this way. As for elders, possibly an alpha edit of the entire piercing itself could work in addition to an actual pierced version (for the most youthful hearts out there!), so that they can just use it as a tongue accessory and nothing more.

Thanks! I always wanted to use this but I didn't because of the rings. I'd like to see an elder version because I figure most people/sims who got a piercing when they were young would keep it.

First of all, thanks for getting rid of the rings. Looks better to me without.

But mostly, thanks for inadvertantly showing me TONGUES. Oh my god! My sims can have tongues! (I realize they're not yours, but I don't visit Insim. The site confuses me.)

yeah, haha. i could just make a tongue as an accessory by taking out the ball and seeing if it works. i think i'd like to try that.

Just for the record though: I have a loop ring on my tongue barbell, plus a tiny barbell through the large ball that the loop is connected to.

getting your tongue pierced does hurt a bit, but if you really want it, definitely go for it. what do you have to lose? besides your tongue.. heh..

you mean, use rings and balls for a real tongue piercing, or the sim one?
i suppose that for a real one you can use rings, but i think they would be very annoying to have on your tongue. one barbell is enough for me.
if you're referring to the sims, you can get blooM's original piercing (tongue, barbell, and rings) from the link i posted to insimenator.org.

They didn't show up in my game, and I downloaded the meshes I needed too. I seem to be the only one having this problem, but any ideas why would be appreciated.

that's strange.. i'll test everything again using the files i've uploaded here, along with bloom's. his meshes are required for these to work, don't forget.

i downloaded this..buht i cnt find it..all i find is blooms but not yours..maybe it isnt named?

They didn't show up for me either, and I made sure I had the meshes. Perhaps you uploaded the files out of your Projects folder, instead of Saved Sims?
