Update 8/17/09
Airship is no longer limited to teleport-access-only. Stealth stairs added. See notes.

The majestic Zephyr Falcon is everything you would expect from an rpg fantasy airship - an immense ship structure of beams, planks, and decks; held afloat by two colossal balloon vessels holding an unknown gas that is lighter than air; propelled by an engine whose mechanical nature is of both science and magic; and a visual design that nods its head toward a more charming era in history. Living aboard this splendorous vessel has its perks, and a different living arrangement.

The idea of the airship was introduced to the mainstream by a certain series of rpg games. The concept of it ignited our imagination and made its way into our gaming culture. It was there when we raided that first cave in the swamp and learned the effect of healing spells on the undead. It was there in the heat of battle when the empire attacked and bombarded us with searing fire. It was there to help us take down that 1000 year old cursed beast which a group of so-called wise men banished when it would have been better to destroy it completely. And when our beloved airship was shot down for no good reason other than for plot development, it had us yearning for paypack.

The Zephyr Falcon is a grizzled veteran from the final battle. Through a long series of exceptionally dangerous missions, it has earned its right to be called the best in its class. Now restored, this former bird of prey has been upgraded to the majestic heights of pomp and grandeur. Ritzey wooden panels align the decks and treasure hold with classic elegance, and stone and marble adorn the bathrooms. While ships generally tend to conserve space and come across as cramped, this airship for four allows traffic, yet provides space for the comforts of living as well as a party mission room, drinking areas, and a dance area.

Still, it is a ship, and the three subordinate 'party members' will have to sleep in single beds. Their quarters, however, are on the same deck as the treasure hold, whose contents give them a check of power over the 'party leader.' Nevertheless, the party leader gets a full captain's quarters ( along with the only bed large enough for woohoo ) and the deciding vote in the party mission room.

Summary:

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
1 navigation room, 1 engine room, 1 treasure hold, 1 party mission room
2 drinking areas, 1 lounge area, 1 dance area
2 RVX2K Teleporters
1 set of stealth stairs

Notes:

Updated 8/17/09. Previously, boarding the airship was a manual, teleport-only process. With this update, stealth stairs were painstakingly added to the rear of the lower deck, providing full access to the Zephyr Falcon. This means that finally you now can have visitors onboard, complete maid and repairperson service, access for all allowed sims, and pizza delivery. No more hassle with manual boarding, no more garbage can in the engine room, and no more chess challenges on the ground level only. Sims will automatically and willingly use the stealth stairs to perform their queued actions on their own. The main garbage can has been moved back to ground level, next to the boarding stealth stairs access area which is clearly indicated by the marble circle surrounded by pillars. The engine room has had Fire / Ice / Lightning / Earth power sources added, a few more rpg-related books in the living room, and other cosmetic changes.

This lot was created without any patches installed.
