Like lemoncandy, I was unaware that roofs could be cloned, since I build more than I play, this is a real treat. :lovestruc One can never have too many roof textures. Thanks a bunch and please keep them coming.

I made these with an unreleased version of the object cloner that handles... various special kinds of objects, I'll leave the rest a surprise. This new version will be released soon though Keep an eye on the cloner download thread. And then everybody can make roofs!

I'll post something about how I did it when the new cloner version is out... like other Sims 3 objects they use composited textures, it's not just a matter of editing one .dds.

These look great but I'm a bit confused. The download instructions say to put in Sims 2 directory and I thought that CEP was only for Sims 2. Is this for Sims 2 or 3?

Our install instructions are outdated This mod installs like any other Sims 3 mod, that is, it goes in mods/packages (assuming you have the right framework installed by using Delphy's installer monkey or a similar tool).

Thanks for the reminder about the instructions though. I think updating those fell off the to do list at some point; I'll see what I can do about it.

BTW, the version of the Cloner that supports roofing is now available in its new home here at MTS: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=362413 . Everybody go out and make roofs! :D
