Once a Sim is downloaded, like this beautiful Luli....where will I find her. I am relatively new to this game. Thanks for any explanation as it is most appreciated.

You must simply place the extracted SIM file in th SavedSims folder, under Electronic Arts/The Sims 3.

By the way, beltanasim, you did an excellent job here! She's beautiful!

Thank you...my downloaded sims are indeed in the "SavedSims" folder. Will I now find them under the "randomizer button" when creating a new sim? If not, where are these new sims or are these new downloaded sims out and about in the towns? (I'm almost there...if you could only answer that question, thank you)

You can find the downloaded sims under the "Pre made sims button". And if you keep on using the "randomizer button" of course

"Infants in southern China have been taken from parents who exceeded the two-child policy for rural families. Luli Chiang is one of these girls. She was ripped apart from her family when she was just a baby."
What?! That is so not true! I don't want to cause any truble, but beltanasim, I wonder if you have ever been to China? How come you know all about this when my friend who is exactly from southern China and who is living happily with her parents and two brothers knows nothing about it?

Wow, she is adorable! And I love her backstory! I have heard of children being taken away from families before.

great job, she is gorgeous! =)

@ JLAN, i'm not sure if its true, but i've heard that there's a fine if a family exceeds the child limit.. so if the family can't afford to pay the fine, maybe the take away the child? - again, just what i've heard

Yeah, you are right, maybe in some distant areas, this may happen, but I'm pretty sure taking away a child when a family exceeds the child limit is not a nation-wide phenomenon.
Sorry for being so serious about all these...
BTW, beltanasim has definatly done a great job! Thanx

propoganda... hm... i guess we will only have world peace when people do some research before making bold statements like beltanasim did.

The sim is gorgeous, but the backstory really ruins it... It's cute, but... well, just do some research, honestly.

Also, she has a gold ring, wouldn't the family just have paid with that? :P

First: it's just a fictional story to create an interesting background for my sim . Second, I DID do some research... look at this article on the BBC website. Maybe I should have posted the link to the article in the main text, I'll do that later, but please stop accusing me of being ignorant.

Thanks to everyone who likes my sim!

Well Done!!!! You've created a beautiful life-like sim. You did such a great job with her, the difference from the first version in CFF is seriously amazing. Thanks a lot!!

Children are not taken away. Some (small percentage of) girls end up in orphanages because the parents put them there by choice because they want a boy child. This is not propaganda and is well known. Many Chinese girls have been adopted by American and European families are the vast majority of them are thriving with their new families. In fact, studies show adopted children are as or more well adjusted than non-adopted children although of course, there are exceptions.

Your sim is beautiful but research into this would make your blurb even better. Thanks for taking the time to create her!

P.S. I read the article and this is happening. But its happening now, not 20 years ago and it a small group of crooks who are taking advantage of the family and the laws. They are child traffickers, corrupt local officials, not the government. Unfortunately, this happens in poor areas, even in the U.S.

Yeah, you're probably right, it may not have happened 20 years ago. Really horrible that such things happen nowadays Next time I will make a story that is less complicated thanks!

I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused, I totally understand that as you metioned, all you want is give Luli Chiang a interesting background.
Sorry again :P

I found the story line most intriguing and have seen documentaries on the very subject.
I finally found this beauty in the preloaded sims as pointed out to me, but she does not have the same hairdo. Is it possible to direct me to this ponytail do? Thanks kindly. You are very talented.
